Résumé This Regional Law regulates the issues of ensuring soil fertility of agricultural land in the process of performance of economic activities by landowners, landlords, land tenants and lease holders of agricultural land. It shall not be applicable to subsidiary smallholding, suburban horticulture and gardening. State regulation of activities aimed at ensuring soil fertility of agricultural land shall be performed in the following ways: (a) elaboration and realization of specific regional programs; (b) participation in federal programs for ensuring soil fertility of agricultural land; (c) assistance in soil, agrochemical, phytosanitary, ecological and toxicological analysis; (d) registration of indices of the state of soil fertility of agricultural land; and (e) scientific research.
