Résumé This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of protection of the population and territory against natural and technological disasters of municipal and regional significance with a view of reduction of damages caused thereby and mitigation of the consequences thereof. Boundaries of the area of natural and technological disasters shall be established in accordance with the classification thereof. Arrangements for protection of the population shall be carried out on a case-by-case basis with the consideration of natural characteristics and particulars of the territory. Authorized regional state institution for protection of the population and territory against natural and technological disasters shall carry out the following arrangements: (a) collection and exchange of information; (b) early warning of the population; and (c) stable functioning of the organizations in emergency situations.
