Résumé This Regional Law regulates industrial and consumer waste management and waste disposal. The basic principles of waste management shall be: (a) minimization of waste production; (b) separation of waste at collection point; (c) priority of waste processing before burial; and (d) recycling and application of ecofriendly processes and methods to waste processing and disposal. Owners, tenants and lease holders of the plots of land subject to illegal dumping must provide for soil clean-up and, in case of impossibility, to inform municipal waste management services. Regional executive bodies shall validate the list of waste subject to compulsory recycling.
