This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Résumé

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of industrial and consumer waste management with a view of preventing negative impact upon human health and natural environment, and also for the purpose of waste prevention, resource conservation, recycling of waste and reuse of recycled materials. Regional administration and local government shall keep and update state register of waste. Regional Government shall perform the following functions in the sphere of waste management: (a) validation of state programs; (b) state supervision; (c) validation of territorial scheme of waste management, including solid domestic waste; and (d) validation of rules regulating the activity of the regional operators in the sphere of waste management. Authorized regional state institution in the sphere of waste management shall perform state supervision in the sphere of waste management in businesses and economic entities subject to state environmental audit.
