This Regional Law enters into force ten days after the date of its official publication.
Résumé

This Regional Law regulates some specific relations in the field of farm animals in personal smallholding farms. Animals must be protected from cruelty. When handling animals shall not be allowed performance on animals of veterinary and other procedures that may cause unbearable pain in animals without the use of painkillers. Keeping farm animals in private subsidiary plots are carried out to satisfy personal needs of citizens running personal subsidiary plots, and jointly living with them and (or) jointly managing with them personal subsidiary plots of their family members. 2. Owners of farm animals are obliged to ensure conditions of their keeping and cleanliness in all places of keeping farm animals. When keeping different types of farm animals in personal subsidiary plots must be ensured that they are separately kept. After the end of the growing or fattening period farm animals must undergo mechanical cleaning, disinfestation, disinfection, disinfestation of places where such animals are kept. Organized grazing of farm animals authorized in places determined by local government and municipalities, organized with the consideration sanitary protection zones of water supply sources, places of location of anthrax cattle burial grounds and their sanitary protection zones. Personal subsidiary plots must be provided for keeping swine without walking or walking swine indoors or under sheds, excluding contact of swine with others animals and birds. Slaughter of farm animals must be performed in places specially designated for slaughter purposes.
