Résumé This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right for timber extraction of forest species for individual personal needs without tender in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species. Re-sale of timber to third party shall be prohibited. Application for conclusion of purchase and sale contract of forest species shall be submitted to the authorized state forest institution (art. 1). Timber extraction shall be carried out in the form of final felling and selection felling (art. 2). Rates of timber extraction shall be established as follows: (a) for housing construction – up to 150 cubic metres once in 50 years; (b) for repairs and reconstruction of housing facilities – up to 30 cubic metres once in 10 years; (c) for construction of dependency outbuilding – up to 25 cubic metres once in 30 years; and (d) fuelwood for heating – up to 30 cubic metres annually (art. 3).
