Résumé The present Regional Law ensures the principles of state policy in the sphere of protection, scientifically substantiated and rational use of wildlife, determines its legal, economic and social basis, and is aimed at conservation and reproduction of wildlife species and natural habitats thereof. Wildlife is the totality of animals in state of natural freedom, kept in semi-captivity and bred in semi-freedom or in artificial environment comprehending the totality of biological diversity permanently or temporarily populating the regional territory. Fisheries shall be regulated by separate legislative acts (art. 25). Hunting and catch of species to pertaining to hunting and fishing species shall be allowed exclusively in conformity with the authorization issued by the regional Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (art. 26). The Regional Law consists of 7 Sections composed of 39 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 5-9) regards state administration in the sphere of management and conservation of wildlife. Section 3 (arts. 10-20) regards protection and reproduction of wildlife species. Section 4 (arts. 21-30) regards utilization of wildlife. Section 5 (arts. 31-34) regards economic regulation of protection and utilization of wildlife species.
