This Law applies to the species listed under Annex 1 of Legislative Decree No. 386/2003. Art. 4,5 and 6 require anyone that intends to produce, store or trade forest plants and their reproductive materials to hold a permit, keep a register and hold a traceability certificate. Art. 7 establishes the regional register of basic forest materials. Monitoring and sanctions provisions are contained in art. 9 and 10.
