Résumé

Regional State Program “Development of agriculture and regulation of markets of agricultural commodities, raw materials and foodstuffs for the period of 2013-2020” is a regional policy document with the scope of creating conditions for sustainable development of the regional agricultural sector and improving living conditions of the rural population. The Program shall pursue the following objectives: (a) ensuring regional food security by main types of crop and livestock production and increasing the competitiveness of crop and livestock production manufactured by the regional agricultural producers; (b) fostering technical and technological modernization of agricultural production; (c) ensuring sustainable production of vegetables from open and protected soil in farms of all categories; (d) ensuring comprehensive and balanced development of the dairy industry; (e) creating conditions for the development of a competitive regional agricultural seed market; (f) support of small business entities; (g) promotion and development of agricultural cooperatives; (h) improvement of living conditions of the rural population; (i) increasing productivity and sustainability of agricultural production and soil fertility by land reclamation; and (j) preservation and improvement of epizootic, veterinary and sanitary well-being with a view of creating conditions for increasing export of agricultural commodities.
