Regional Decree No. 20/93/M approving the Regional Directorate of Livestock.

This Regional Decree approves the Regional Directorate of Livestock. It consists of 4 chapters and 1 annex establishing the composition and powers of the Regional Directorate of Livestock which shall be responsible for: a) enforcing veterinary and livestock legislation; b) preparing plans, programmes and actions to adopt necessary sanitary measures; c) promoting and coordinating the implementation of the production, preservation and valorization of animal species; d) guaranteeing animal health and managing actions in order to develop the veterinary sector.
