To this purpose, the Marche Region shall undertake initiatives and interventions to ensure the improvement of apiculture as it deems it appropriate. Title II of the Act provides for the setting up of the Regional Commission for Apiculture under the Agricultural, Forestry and Food Service of the Regional Council. Title III lays down detailed provisions with respect to intervention programmes to be drafted by the Region and related granting of subsidies; Title IV concerns the census of bee hives and related duties of bee keepers; Title V refers to fight against diseases through sanitary checks to be carried out periodically by the competent local health authorities.
