Regional Act No. 2 laying down provisions on protection against air pollution and approving the Regional Plan for the restoration and improvement of air quality for the period from 2007 to 2015.

This Act sets forth the legislative framework applicable in the Valle d’Aosta Region in the field of air pollution prevention, with a view to guaranteeing the protection of human health and the environment. The Act provides for the arrangement of the Regional Territorial Information System and its coordination with the National Territorial Information System. Further provisions specify the amount of financial resources to be allocated by the Region to attain the objectives of this Act. More specific rules and interventions are laid down by the Regional Plan for the restoration and improvement of air quality (valid from 2007 to 2015) adopted by the Regional Council and approved by this Act. The Plan is annexed to the Act.
