To this purpose, the Region shall undertake all interventions (including studies, research, training courses) which might improve apiculture products (honey, pollen, etc.) and protect environments destined to bees. As per article 3, every year the Regional Authority shall draft and approve a programme concerning the interventions and initiatives to be undertaken within the apiculture sector. Articles 4 to 6 regard the subsidies to be granted by the Region. Further provisions refer to sanitary conditions that bee keepers must comply with and their duty to inform the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Food prior to carrying on apiculture activities.
