Résumé This Law regulates the responsibility of food manufacturers and importers, supervision of food production and import, and ensures that food is supplied at an appropriate level of quality, safety and fitness for consumption, including a structured procedure for identifying failures in the production, import and transport processes of food, risk analysis for critical control points and measures (HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points). The Law also regulates the responsibility of food marketers and their obligations at every stage of transferring food from production to its direct sale to consumers. In particular, it aims to regulate the following issues: (1) Responsibilities of food manufacturers and food importers, the supervision of food production, its importation, and everything to ensure that the food is provided at an adequate level of quality, integrity and safety, including under adequate production conditions, which correspond to the standards established in the food legislation; (2) Responsibility of a food marketer and related obligations at every stage of the transfer of the food from its production, and to ensure that the food is marketed at an adequate level of quality, integrity and safety in accordance with the standards established in the food legislation; (3) Food quality safety, in accordance with international standards and for supervision based on risk management in the direction of enabling the availability and accessibility of a variety of food at reasonable costs to the general public, while maintaining public health.
