In particular it regards sodium chloride that can be used for alimentary purposes. Salt lakes shall be classified as marine, continental and mixed. Lakes shall be classified as brine lakes, dry lakes and sand lakes in relation to the type of salt deposit. Lake salts shall be classified as chloride, sulphate and carbonate. Rock salt shall be used for alimentary and technical purposes.
