Résumé The Protection of Working Youth Act regards the employment of children and youth (children being anyone under the age of 15 and youth being older than 15 but under 18). There is a general prohibition to employ children (§5). There are exceptions inter alia for children that do not need to attend school full time. Their employment should be limited to max 35 hours per week and no more than 7 hours a day (§7). Youth are not allowed to be employed for more than 40 hours per week and no more than 8 hours a day (§8). Dangerous work may not be completed by the youth (§22). This Act consists of 72 Articles divided into 6 sections as follow: General provision (1); Occupation of children (2); Occupation of young people (3); Implementation of the Act (4); Penal provision (5); Final provision (6).
