Sujet Espèces sauvages et écosystèmes Mot clé Service forestier/agents forestiers Responsabilité/indemnisation Infractions/sanctions Aire géographique Afrique, Afrique Orientale, Nations en développement sans littoral Résumé This Act holds “indemnified persons” free from criminal liability and thus of prosecution for acts done in good faith for the purposes of or in connection with the suppression of the unlawful hunting of wild life. “Indemnified person” means a person was at the time of the Act: (a) the Director of National Parks and Wild Life Management; (b) designated an officer, inspector or employee in terms of section 109 of the Parks and Wild Life Act’; (c) appointed an honorary officer in terms of section 111 of the that Act; (d) a police officer or any member of the Defence Forces; (e) declared to be an indemnified person by the President by notice in a Statutory Instrument; or (f) person assisting and acting under the direction of a person referred to above.
