Disabled or ill animals shall not be used for any labor and, in case the owner lets them working, he/she shall be fined or serve a prison term. Any location may be appointed as animal infirmary and treatment administered to injured or sick animals under the obligations of this Ordinance.When animals are in a terminal condition, any Police Officer, in absence of its owner or keeper, may summon a Veterinary Surgeon in order to evaluate the animal health conditions and, if the Veterinary Surgeon approves of it, have the animal finished off.
