Résumé This Order prohibits, within the entire national territory, shellfish fishing with the so-called "argaleios" fishing gear for the period of time starting the 1st of June until the 30th of September on a year basis. In particular, closed seasons are set for two shellfish species: for the "Ostrea Edulis" specie (commonly called oyster) the closed season starts on the 15th of April until the 15th of October annually.
