Résumé In order to improve the cotton processing industry, this Decree creates the territorial and regional joint-stock companies Uzbekhlopkoprom to purchase and process raw cotton and deliver cotton products. To this end, Uzbekhlopkoprom shall: (a) enter into contracts with cotton sowing agricultural enterprises to purchase and process raw cotton; (b) supply such enterprises with elite cotton seeds; and (c) ensure the registration and traceability cotton products throughout the production cycle for domestic and international markets.
