Résumé

This Presidential Decree establishes that Agency of Alcohol and Tobacco Market and Promotion of Viticulture in the Republic of Uzbekistan shall constitute Viticulture Development Fund that shall be subsidized from the national budget and revenues from enterprises performing wholesale trade of liquors (except for beer and natural wine), 50 percent of fines for illegal manufacturing and trade of liquors and ethyl alcohol and other sources authorized by acting legislation. Viticulture Development Fund shall finance the following activities: (a) implementation of complex specific programs aimed at accelerated development of technical vineyards of technical varieties and winemaking industry, including the purchase of grape seedlings, grape breeding and planting thereof; (b) subsidization to cover part of the purchase costs of intensive saplings and saplings grown under local conditions; (c) allocation of subsidies to cover part of the purchase costs of the locally grown grape seedlings "In vitro" from grape plant tissues (meristem cells); (d) subsidies for putting on espaliers of technical grape varieties; (e) planting of mother plantations and collection sites, seedlings (nurseries) of technical grape varieties; and (f) reservation of vintage wines and cognac distillates.
