Résumé The President, with a view of improvement of scientific and technical activity in the sphere of electric energy, decrees to set up Joint-Stock Company “Uzbekenergo” assigning the following functions thereto: (a) fundamental scientific research in the sphere of electric energy; (b) testing and introduction of advanced technologies and equipment in the sphere of electric energy sector; and (c) acceleration of large-scale use of renewable energy sources.
