For the purpose of ensuring its revision, this Regulation expires on 31 March 2024.
Résumé

The present Regulation implements the Potato Growers of Alberta Plan Regulation and the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act. To enable the Commission to operate the Plan, it is hereby authorized to make, inter alia, regulations requiring producers engaged in the production or marketing, or both, of the regulated product to register their names and addresses with the Commission; requiring any person who produces, markets or processes the regulated product to supply to the Commission any information relating to the production, marketing or processing of the product; prohibiting persons from engaging in the production, marketing or processing, as the case may be, of the regulated product except under the authority of a licence issued under the Plan. The Regulation consists of 4 sections.
