Résumé

This Regulation, composed of 12 sections and one Annex, gives definitions and makes provisions for the use of Novakron, Azodrin, Siolan and Metacill pesticides. A pesticide is defined as a chemical preparation that contains 13-dithiolane-diethoxy-phosphylimino as active agent. Section 1 gives definitions. Section 2 states that a person shall not buy a pesticide unless a written permit has been obtained from the director of the Plant Protection Department and levy has been paid. The director will not sign the permit unless he controlled that damage to public health or/and animal health, for using the pesticide, can be reasonably controlled and repaired. Sections 3 and 4 state that a person shall not use a pesticide unless he is in possession of a license that should be with him during pesticide operations for inspection reasons. Section 5 states that a person shall not sell a pesticide to another unless he presented the permit signed by the director, the permit will remain with the seller for inspection purposes for e 2 year period. Section 6 specifies that pesticides will be used for the elimination of Prodenia moth in cotton. Section 7 prohibits the air-spreading of a pesticide by airplane in a range of 120 meters from a house, a school, a kindergarten or any other place with human activities. An airplane loaded with a pesticide shall not fly over the abovementioned places. Section 8 prohibits the spreading of a pesticide from land within the range of 50 meters from the abovementioned places. Section 9 sets rules for the safety of the pesticide operator. Section 10 provides for the setting of caution signs in the area to be treated that shall not be taken away before ten days after the pesticide spreading. Section 11 prohibits the leaving on field, of any equipment or container used for the pesticide operations. Annex one contains an example for a caution sign and its requisitions.
