Résumé

This Regulation, of 13 sections and one Annex, sets definitions and makes provisions for the usage of Pesticides containing Aldicarb-2-methyl-2-(methylthio)-propionaldehyde O-(methylcarbamoyl) oxime agents in a granular formulation. Section (1) gives definitions. Sections (2) to (3) prohibit the selling and the usage of pesticides containing Aldicarb unless a permit is obtained from the director of the Plant Protection Department. Sections (4) to (5) deal with the requisites for obtaining a permit: the operator must be well qualified, permit taxes have been paid and environmental damage due to the usage of the pesticide must be controlled. The permit will report information regarding the name of the seller, the buyer and the quantity of the pesticide, the cause, the crop and the place to be used. Section (6) sets safety measures for the pesticides operator. Section (7) to (8) deal with storage restrictions and caution signing for the storeroom and the pesticide containers. Section (9) demands the positioning of caution signs, in the way prescribed in Annex 1, before the spreading of the pesticide. The signs will not be taken away before 90 days from spreading date, and air-spreading is strictly prohibited. Sections (10) to (11) deal with the burning of empty pesticide packages and the collecting of all material and equipment used with the pesticide operations. Equipment must be rinsed on that very day in a site not used for human bathing. Sections (12) and (13) contain generic information. Annex 1 gives an example for a caution sign.
