Section (1) gives definitions. Section (2) sets rules for the eliminations of plant afflictions; The holder of a field should uproot or eliminate weeds and must keep the field clean of waste that should be transferred to a waste disposal area. Fields must be plowed ten days after harvest and kept clean during waiting period; these rules will apply on processed fields and their adjacent areas within 20 meters. Section 2(a) deals with exemptions to the aforementioned rules that can be obtained from the director of the Plant Protection and Inspection Department upon written request and after listed conditions have been satisfied regarding plants listed in Annex One. Section (3) makes provisions for the defining and the operation of waste disposal areas for every settlement in the Aravah and Negev areas.
