Résumé

These Regulations require an owner of land cultivated for the production of cotton to destroy all cotton plants on his land: (a) on or before the 1st August in each year if that land is situated in an infested area or in a quarantine area; (b) on or before the 1st October in each year if that land is situated outside an infested area or a quarantine area. Subject to the provisions of regulation 4, an owner of land in an infested area or in a quarantine area shall not plant cotton on such land before the 1st October in any year. The Minister may grant exemptions.
