They specify conditions for the entry of plants, plant materials and products into Barbados. An application for a permit to import a restricted article shall be in Form A set out in the Fist Schedule, whereas the permit itself shall be in Form B. Each import shall be accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate (reg. 2). Importation of restricted articles shall be promptly notified by an imported in accordance with regulation 3. Regulation 4 specifies ports of entry. Regulation 5 and the Second Schedule specify criteria and standards as regards to imported planting material and its packing.
