Résumé

This Regulation, of 13 Sections and three Annexes, gives definitions and makes provisions for the exportation of plant products from Israel. Section (1) gives definitions; the Director is he who has been appointed by the Minister of Commerce and Industry. Section (2) provides for exportation norms: a registered plant product can be exported if (a) the directors requests listed in section (5) have been satisfied; (b) a secret code has been set; (c) a secret code with the producers name, the products name and the production date has been reported on the products package; (d) to (h) report labelling procedures. Sections (3) and (4) have been cancelled. Sections (5) and (6) deal with the directors’ special requests regarding a product to be exported. Sections (7) to (10) provide for exporting procedures: an exporter must notify the director of the following; a) the product’s name and its secret code, b) the product’s packaging, c) the product’s production date and its secret code, d) the quantity to be exported. An inspector has the power to take samples of the product to be exported for inspection purposes. The inspector shall test the samples and will certificate the product if all requirements have been satisfied and inspection taxes have been paid. Section (11) deals with experimental exportation; the rules listed in this regulation shall not take place on shipments defined by the director as experimental shipments. Sections (12) and (13) give general information.
