Résumé

These Regulations provide rules for the importation of: (a) nursery-stock, tree, shrub, herb, vine, cut- flower, cutting, graft, scion, bud, seed, leaf, root, or rhizome; nut, fruit, or vegetable; grain, cereal or legume in the natural or raw state; moss, hay, straw, dry-grass, or other forage; unprocessed log, limb, or timber, or any other plant-growth or plant-product, unprocessed or in the raw state; (b) soil; (c) live bird, reptile, bacteria, fungus, nematode, virus, insect or other animal in any stage of development except domestic animal; and (d) containers in which the above articles have been transported. The Regulations provide rules relative to declaration of importation, labelling and marking, inspection and disinfecting or quarantine. The Regulations also prohibit the importation of soil and of animals or insects that may be harmful to agriculture, public health, native flora or fauna or the environment.
