Entry into force notes: The present Regulation enters into force on 23 October 1998.

Résumé: The present Regulation enacts sections 35, 37 and 56 of the Pipeline Act. The Regulation applies to all pipelines within the boundaries of British Columbia which have been constructed or are operating under the jurisdiction of the government of British Columbia. The text consists of 23 sections as follows: Interpretation (1); Application (2); Application for certificate granting leave to construct a pipeline (3); Approval of plans, profiles and books of reference (4); Changes to plans involving changes in location of pipeline (5); Leave of the commission required before pipeline opened for transportation of oil or gas (6); Installation of farm taps (7); Pipeline and highway crossings (8); Pipeline crossings (9); References to codes (10); Material standards - pipe, pressure components and pressure vessels (11); Standard for pipelines (12); Pumping and compressor stations (13); Flare systems (14); Installation - railway property (15); Storage tanks (16); Field construction of the line (17); Signs required (18); Inspection (19); Fees (20); Operation (21); Accidents and their investigation (22); Appeals (23).
