Petroleum Act, S.N.B. 2007 (c. P-8.03).

Section 3 establishes that no person shall explore for, develop, drill for or produce petroleum: a) unless that person holds a petroleum right granted under this Act, b) without the consent of the Crown if the exploration, development, drilling or production is undertaken on Crown Lands.
