It provides for dividing the state into five park regions; the powers and duties of the Division of Recreation and Parks of the Department of Environmental Protection of Florida; prohibited activities and penalties for violating the state parks laws; fees and fee discounts for use of state parks; use of the state park system property by citizen support organizations; senior/disabled citizen camping permit; defibrillators in state parks; dedication of state park lands for public use; the power of eminent domain and procedure; creating state Park Trust Fund; the policy of the Division to promote the parks and tourism; cooperation of the Division with counties; guide meridian and base parallel park; maintaining Stephen Foster State Folk Culture Center; taking or damaging of coral and other material from John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park; designation of Rauscher Park; supervision measures of Rauscher Park by the Division; ceding land for Royal Palm State Park; Royal Palm State Park and endowment lands exempt from taxation; designation of St. Michael’s Cemetery as a state park; and prohibited acts in Savannas State Reserve.
