This Regulation enters into force on September 1st 2008.
Résumé

This Regulation consisting of 46 articles prohibits (i) to treat any produce with ionizing radiation; (ii) the use, during the production of organic plant produce, of any element originating from genetically engineered plants or any element treated with ionizing radiation; (iii) to cultivate agriculture plant produce in a plot that is under organic conversion, unless signposts referred to organic conversion are fixed at the plot's entrances; (iv) to cultivate organic plant produce in an organic plot, unless signposts are fixed at the plot's entrances; (v) to process, sort or package organic produce, if someone else is processing, sorting or packaging non-organic products on the same place and at the same time; (vi) to store organic produce in a place that also stores non-organic produce; (vii) to present for sale organic produce in a place that also present non-organic produce unless it is separated and a signpost is fixed with the writing "organic produce"; (viii) to process, sort or package organic produce, unless he had thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and washed with water the equipment, tools and work surfaces that are placed at the processing, sorting or packaging areas; (ix) to use carbon dioxide in any of the cultivation stages of organic plant produce; (x) to use soil improvers and fertilizers other than the ones listed in article 22; (x) to use a compost not complying with all of the conditions listed in article 23.
