This Ordinance enters into force 15 days after the date of its official publication.
Résumé

Methodology for adjustment of soil survey materials has as its scope making corrections to the materials of the previously conducted soil surveys, addenda to the content, rectification of the boundaries of the contours of the soil on the map or re-compilation of cartographic annexes, i.e. to bring the materials of large-scale studies of the past years in accordance with the requirements of the assessment of the current state; systematization of data on the qualitative characteristics of land and soil fertility (scores of index of quality and yield of soil) of their economic assessment, the environmental condition of the territories with the analysis of the development of the processes that have a negative impact on the land; and development of recommendations on prevention of negative processes and liquidation of their consequences, effective use of agricultural lands; state land accounting and provision of state authorities at all levels, individuals and legal entities with information on quality of agricultural land. The material of large-scale soil surveys should contain recommendations on the following issues arising from soil cover studies: (a) land transformation; (b) soil protection from water and wind erosion; (c) irrigation, drainage, soil improvement; (d) chemical soil improvement (plastering, etc.); (e) correct placement of crop rotations; (f) composition of crops; (g) features of agricultural machinery and fertilizer application depending on soil conditions; (h) improvement of hayfields and pastures; and (i) economic assessment of soil.
