Résumé This Ordinance determines: 1. the specific requirements for distance trade in food; 2. the implementation of official control in trade with food at a distance. This Ordinance shall be applied for: 1. any natural or legal person who places food on the market through means of distance communication - business operator within the meaning of article 3 (paragraph 3) in conjunction with paragraph 2 of Regulation (EC) № 178/2002 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 January 2002 laying down the general principles and requirements of food law, establishing a European Food Safety Authority food safety and laying down procedures in relation to food safety; 2. service provider within the meaning of article 1, item 7 of the additional provision of the Bulgarian Law on food.
