Résumé

This Order determines the implementation of a special surveillance to determine the presence of the bacterium Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi et al. causative agent of brown rot of tubers and bacterial wilt of potatoes and tomatoes, determination of prevalence and, in case of occurrence, the measures to be taken to prevent the spread and control, with the aim of eradicating brown rot of tubers and bacterial wilt of potatoes and tomatoes, as well as the procedures for laboratory testing. The measures taken to destroy the bacterium Ralstonia solanacearum (Smith) Yabuuchi et al. formerly known as Pseudomonas solanacearum (Smith) Smith which causes tuber brown rot and bacterial wilt of potatoes and tomatoes, as well as other plants that may host the pes, given in Annex 1-point 1 in order to: (a) locate and determine its spread and distribution; (b) prevent its occurrence and spread and (c) if found, prevent its spread and control it for complete elimination.
