Résumé

Regulation determines the principles of the formation, composition and inter-action between the main elements, the modalities of carrying out tasks, and regulates the main issues of functioning of departmental sub-systems of the common state system of prevention and liquidation of emergencies. The main tasks of the Commission are : 1. guidance of the elaboration and carrying out organizational and other arrangements for the prevention of emergencies that may cause dangerous ecological consequences ; 2. participation in the process of elaboration and carrying out federal special and scientific and technical programs as regards ecological safety and carrying out ecological monitoring in emergency situations ; 3. organization of activity as regards creation of local systems of ecological monitoring at potentially hazardous works under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
