This Regulation consists of 14 articles and 1 annex regulating the control and certification of forestry planting materials (called MFR). The General Directorate of Forests (DGF) is responsible for the implementation and enforcement of this sector, establishing forestry seed category in order to be produced and traded. This Order establishes: seed packaging and labelling requirements, purety standards, controls to be carried out (including samples), trade, etc. The Annex specifies the origin of the said forestry seed and the requirements to be met in order to obtain a seed certification (a model form is attached to the text).
