Résumé The Order applies to the authorization of commercial extraction of minerals and sets regulations on the Regional Council’s jurisdiction where the extraction takes place (in adherence to the Mineral Resources Act’s article 7). The Regional Council is authorized to set conditions on the exploitation of rock, gravel, and other natural resources on land and in territorial sea (in adherence to article 5, section 3 of Act No. 285 of 27 June 1972. Applications for such abstractions shall be submitted electronically. The Regional Council may however required additional information (other than that listed in Appendix 1 of this document) to evaluate these applications, including information on size and quality of test extractions.
