This Order enters into force 10 calendar days after the date of its official publication.
Résumé

This Order establishes the procedure for regulation of the number of wild fauna species by the authorized state institution in the field of protection, reproduction and management of wild fauna species in accordance with biological substantiation. Biological substantiation shall be intended scientifically substantiated conclusion on the use of wildlife, determination of the allowable volume of removal of wildlife species, as well as activities that may affect wildlife species and their habitats. Regulation of the number of wild fauna species shall be performed for the following purposes: (a) protection of public health; (b) prevention of diseases of agricultural and domestic animals; (c) prevention of damage to the economy; and (d) preservation of biological balance. The grounds for regulating the number of wild fauna species shall be as follows: (a) emergence of the threat of infection or disease of the population, agricultural and domestic animals with diseases transmitted by wild fauna species; (b) occurrence of a threat of significant damage to the economy; (c) violation of the existing natural balance of the wild fauna in natural habitat, which led to a reduction in the number of some wild fauna species and other negative consequences; and (d) the threat of violation of hydrochemical and other regimes of water bodies and (or) sites, which may lead to suffocation of aquatic species.
