Résumé

This Order approves the criteria for classification of fishery waterbodies and (or) parts thereof as waterbodies and (or) fishing areas for commercial fisheries, artisanal (sports) fishing, lake-based commercial fishfarming, cage fish farming, and the Methodology for their determination. These Criteria do not apply to bitter-saline waterbodies. The criteria are: (a) for commercial fishing: large fishery waterbodies and/or areas in case of availability of fish resources and other aquatic animals and sustainable fishing opportunities; fishing pressure on waterbodies allows natural reproduction of fish resources and other aquatic animals; (b) for artisanal (sports) fishing: water bodies and/or areas where it is impossible to organize commercial fishing, lake-based commercial fishfarming or cage fishfarming (waterbodies with presence of snags, subject to suffocation of fish, fish weirs, creeks); waterbodies and/or areas with low productivity of commercial fish species and which are not essential for their reproduction; (c) for lake-based commercial fishfarming: separate (isolated) waterbodies (or) areas inhabited predominantly by low-value fish species and having low natural fishery production; small lakes and reservoirs, isolated bays of seas, rivers and reservoirs, other isolated reservoirs of local importance, which may be used for aquaculture development; and (c) cage fishfarming: water areas of isolated areas (bays, estuaries) of fishing waterbodies, protected from the winds and currents; the area of the water area of the site should ensure the placement of cages, protection zone for the operation of the fishfarm (not less than 100 meters from the cages) and the possibility of the development of the economy; the depth of the waterbody at the place of installation of the cages should be not less than 5 meters, the distance of cages from any vegetation should be at least 100 meters.
