The heads of the District Forestry Institutions must be guided in their activity by this Regulation regarding the functioning of the forestries of the Federal Forest Service and other specialised forestry institutions, and provide for its strict observance. The Regulation establishes that forestry, forestry technical secondary school, experimental forestry and other specialised forestry institutions of the Federal Forest Service are territorial (local) branches of the Federal Forestry Institution (Federal Forest Service). Forestry (Institution) is the authorized state executive body in the field of : 1) use, safeguard and protection of forestry resources and reforestation ; 2) environmental protection ; 3) protection, control and management of the use of wildlife species and their natural habitats.
