Entry into force notes
This Order enters into force on the day after its publication, and applies to the management of the alfonsino fish quota for 2017 and subsequent years.
Résumé

This Order establishes the allocation of the alfonsino fish quota allocated by European regulations to Portugal in Union waters and international waters of III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XII and XIV Areas of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) by the fleet registered in the Mainland and by the fleet registered in the Autonomous Region of the Azores. The alfonsino fish species quota is allocated by all national vessels according to the port of registry, as follows: a) for vessels registered in Mainland ports, 15% of the total quota; b) for vessels registered in ports of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, 85% of the total quota.
