Reserve shall be located in Kamchatka region and Koryak autonomous region. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) conservation, regeneration and reproduction of biological diversity and protected areas; (b) research; (c) ecological monitoring; and (d) ecological education. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) all types of hunting; (b) all types of fisheries and fishing; (c) grazing and haymaking; (d) logging and procurement of soft resin; (e) waste disposal; (f) construction; (g) application of chemicals and fertilizers; (h) transit of cattle; and (i) introduction and acclimatization of living organisms.
