Résumé The Order sets regulations with regard to IBR (Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis) in cattle, and the requirement for notification to veterinarians in cases of suspicious cases. The Danish Veterinary and Food Administration may order the responsible owner of such affected livestock to provide for blood samples or milk samples associated with the risk of contagion, the area of inspection with the purpose of testing for the presence of IBR. Confirmed cases of IBR shall immediatelly be isolated and therefore subject to quarantine. Cattle from infected or suspect herds may be moved if directly to slaughter or destruction. Animals for slaughter must be accompanied by the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration approval certification. Vaccination against IBR is prohibited.
