Résumé This Order sets regulations on standard requirements concerning ear tagging for the identification of bovine, swine, ovine and caprine animals. Particular emphasis is made on registration thereof, which shall be notified to the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Central Livestock Register (CHR) by assigning an identification number containing information on provenience, ownership and data of the animal(s). Earmarking shall be of yellow colour, must include log, CKR identification number and "DK". It shall be made of plastic, and approved for use by ICAR (International Committee on Animal Recording). Finally electronic earmarking and/or chip must adhere to ISO standard 11784 and 11785.
