Entry into force notes: This Order enters into force on 1 November 2004.

Résumé: This Order sets regulations on international trade of wild animal and plant species, as well as parts and derivates thereof. Any import to and export from Greenland of these – which are listed in the Washington Convention/CITES list - are only permitted through authorization granted by the National Directorate of Environment and Nature. Application of permission is required and import authorization shall valid for a maximum of 6 months. Trade in specimens of protected species in adherence to the Environmental Protection Act No. 29 of 18 December 2003 is not allowed.
