Résumé

The Director of the Federal Forest Service, for the purpose of inspection of the state, quantity and use of the hunting species in the public forests pertaining to the forest stock orders to validate the Methodical Instructions and forward them for guidance to the regional forest institutions, forestry and National Parks for guidance. The Methodical Instructions are recommended for use in the process of carrying out inspections over the state, quantity and use of the populations of wildlife species and their natural habitats by the forestry specialized in the complex forest and hunting management. The Methodical Instructions shall not apply to the boreal coniferous forests of vast territory (millions of hectares). The Methodical Instructions contain 30 types of the registration of hunting species but not all of them shall be carried out in a single forestry. The necessity of carrying out a certain type of registration of hunting species shall be determined by the following factors: the presence certain hunting species, whether a given species is the basic one, whether commercial hunting is authorized on the territory of forestry and whether hunting management is being carried out in the forestry. The methodology of calculation is applicable to game and game-birds. The principal method of registration of game is the method of triple calculation that is based upon calculation of entrance and exit trails of game for the determined territory. The purpose of calculation and registration is to determine the density of wildlife population on a hunting ground with the subsequent application of an average number to the totality of forestry and game preserves. The following game species must be obligatorily recorded in data reports: wolf, wild boar, roe deer, marten, fox, elk, red deer, dappled deer, lynx.
