Résumé

This Methodology establishes the procedure for conducting a resource survey of plant resources and determining limits for their use. Limits on the use of plant resources are established for the purpose of their rational use, and are determined on the basis of resource surveys, carried out by specialized organizations accredited by the authorized body, and are approved by local executive bodies of regions, cities of republican significance and the capital for a period determined by the materials of the resource survey. The resource survey is carried out at the request of flora users at their own expense in accordance with the Methodology. Resource surveys are carried out in relation to: (a) medicinal plants, the list of which is determined by the authorized body; (b) plant species that are sources of scarce raw materials; (c) economically significant resource plant species, the raw materials of which are used for domestic and export markets; and (d) plants included in the list of rare and endangered plant species. A resource survey is carried out in a certain area to study the raw material reserves of individual plant species and their communities and determine the possible volumes of their collecting (harvesting). Based on the collected data, survey routes are determined, collection sites and the number of samples of the studied species in the planned territory or in a specific floristic region are identified.
